Next Up is a full-featured podcast alarm clock for iOS. It’s designed to make mornings better by waking users up with episodes of their favorite podcasts.
Why do we need it?
Waking up doesn’t have to be horrible. Starting the day with a podcast means having something more engaging to look forward to in the morning than a blaring alarm sound or music you’ll soon grow to hate. It means waking up engaged.
Who is it for?
Next Up is for people like me (that’s why I made it) – people who hate waking up to grating alarm sounds, songs they’ll soon grow to hate, or an un-customizable, ad-filled radio station.
What makes it stand out from the crowd?
Next Up is intuitive, attractive, and feature-full. Pick a time and podcast. Choose which days to repeat. Select the volume, snooze duration, playback order. Even skip past early ads and intros. And it syncs with the native Podcasts app.
What’s next?
A more beautiful and responsive ‘Featured’ section. Custom episode playlists. More alarm options. Maybe some different visual themes down the line.
