What does it do?
Localpinch.com is a local gift certificate and reviews marketplace. Local businesses can sell their gift certificates through the website, set up a profile,and find and interact with new customers.
Why do we need it?
Most online shopping sites focus on large companies or online retailers. We hope to fill the local small business niche (music teachers, personal trainers, cleaners, etc.) There is a need on both side for this type of service.
Who is it for?
This site is for two groups: The owners/operators of small businesses, and for customers searching for local services and products. LocalPinch hopes to be an easy-to-use online platform for local proprietors and shoppers.
What makes it stand out from the crowd?
As other websites focus on large businesses or huge discounts for a limited time, LocalPinch is committed to the little guy. We know our customers cannot offer huge markdowns and might not even have a website. We are here to help them.
What’s next?
We are just starting out, so our primary focus at the moment is to start building up a wide breadth of businesses and shoppers across the country. Hopefully we can offer a good variety of local business at which people want to shop.
