What does it do?

EdGenie is a modern virtual tuition platform which provides small group, live classes taking students through the curriculum all online. Providing attainment possibilities including assessments, homework help and exam practice.

Why do we need it?

There are three reasons:

– The current school environment is not suitable.
– The best tutors are inaccessible for the majority (Our tutors usually charge upwards of £120 ph one to one)
– Around 50% of tuition is now conducted online.

Who is it for?

Target market:

-16-18 year olds preparing for university – 746,000 students enrolled
– Middle Income families
– Beta targeting Economics/Business studies- approx 60,300 students

Reputation of tutors are the best in UK (92% A/A* success).
User interface is extremely presentable without connectivity problems.
Small class size (max 8) vs traditional class (30).

When and how are you opening up your beta to new users?

Currently have a pre-launch website. Getting potential users to sign up. We will be providing free taster sessions and University preparation classes over the next 3 weeks prior to launch.
